Latest Gold Analysis and Trading PlanGoldTVC:GOLDGold_Navigator Gold traded relatively steadily yesterday, with no extreme price swings. After some early Asian-session volatility, buyers pushed prices higher from the lows and reclaimed the psychological $4,000 level. Gold then remained within a narrow $3,980–$4,030 range, eventually closing around $4,016. In my view, gold is showing increasing short-term resilience. Even when minor pullbacks occur, buyers quickly step in to support the price. This suggests that selling pressure is weakening and the market may be building a short-term recovery structure. The recent range has also created opportunities for intraday traders to buy near support and sell near resistance rather than chase price movements. Despite a relatively strong US dollar and stable Treasury yields, gold has not experienced sustained downside pressure. Under normal market conditions, these factors would typically weigh on precious metals. However, I believe easing geopolitical tensions and declining oil prices are helping reduce market anxiety. Progress toward de-escalation in the Middle East has lowered some safe-haven demand, while gold's ability to hold key technical support suggests that underlying buying interest remains present. Gold has repeatedly stabilized around $3,965–$3,975, strengthening the case for a potential short-term base. In my opinion, the key question now is whether buyers can turn this consolidation into a sustained rebound. Confirmation from price action will be essential before assuming that a broader bullish reversal is underway. Gold continues to consolidate above $4,000, with the recent price action showing signs of improving short-term momentum. The key resistance zone is $4,030–$4,035. A decisive breakout above this area could strengthen the double-bottom recovery structure and open the way toward $4,050–$4,060. If bullish momentum continues, the market could eventually attempt to retest $4,100. On the downside, $4,000 is the first support level, followed by $3,980 and the stronger $3,965–$3,975 zone. My view is that the short-term bias is gradually shifting toward recovery. I prefer buying pullbacks while keeping an eye on resistance for potential short-term selling opportunities. However, a failed breakout or a decisive loss of support would require reassessing this outlook. Key Price Levels Resistance Levels $4,025–$4,030: Immediate resistance $4,030–$4,035: Key breakout zone $4,060–$4,080: Upside target $4,090–$4,100: Potential extended target Support Levels $4,000–$3,990: First buying zone $3,980: Short-term support $3,965–$3,975: Major support zone Trading Plan BUY Setup — Preferred Strategy Entry Zone: $3,990–$4,000 Stop Loss: Below $3,980 TP1: $4,025 TP2: $4,035 My view: I prefer buying pullbacks into support, provided gold stabilizes and shows bullish confirmation. The objective is to capture a recovery toward the upper end of the current range rather than enter blindly. SELL Setup — Resistance Rejection Entry Zone: $4,025–$4,030 Stop Loss: Above $4,045 TP1: $4,000 TP2: $3,995 My view: If gold reaches this resistance zone and shows clear rejection, a short-term sell trade may offer an opportunity to capture a pullback. I would avoid selling if price breaks through resistance with strong bullish momentum. Breakout Strategy If gold decisively breaks above $4,030–$4,035, the short-term double-bottom recovery structure would gain credibility. In that scenario, I would look for bullish continuation toward $4,050–$4,060, with $4,100 as a potential extended target. I would prefer to wait for breakout confirmation or a successful retest before considering a momentum entry. My overall view is cautiously bullish in the short term. Gold is holding above $4,000, downside momentum appears to be weakening, and repeated support near $3,965–$3,975 suggests that buyers are gradually establishing a base. For today's trading, I favor buying confirmed pullbacks, while treating $4,030–$4,035 as the key level that could determine whether gold enters a stronger recovery phase. Will gold break above $4,035 and advance toward $4,050–$4,060, or will resistance push prices back toward $4,000?
