L&T has secured design-and-build orders worth ₹5,000 crore to ₹10,000 crore for two systems packages of Bangladesh’s Dhaka Metro Line 1, the country’s first underground metro project. The contracts cover track works, electrical systems, signalling, telecommunications and platform screen doors.
