Here's another app only me and my mom will use - My first little personal project just got approved on Google Play, and I’m weirdly emotional about it

Wait 5 sec.

I spent the last 6 months building an app that brings together all the daily tools I was using to track and manage my budget, habits, to-do, workouts, grocery and meal (it was mostly excel sheets, notion, google notes, etc.). I tried for quite some time to fit them all into a single place, to have them all right in front of me, so life felt a bit more structured and under control...especially now that my first born has arrived and my girlfriend and I seem to have lost any strength for keeping things in check. I built this suite of 9 "everyday tools" and it was a lot of work (a lot more than should have been, but it was my first time doing something this big) and I'm pretty proud of it. This morning Google told me it’s approved for production, so it’s now "really" out there. Honestly, I’m not expecting much. I built it for me, and it’s already doing its job there. If a few of you find it useful, that would make my week. But mostly I’m just happy it exists outside my own phone now. There’s a web version and an Android app: 🌐 [The Artifacts Lab — Smart tools for real life] 📱 [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theartifactslab.app\] I’d love to hear one thing: would you actually want money, health and plans in one app, or do you prefer separate apps for each? Any feedback, kind or brutal, is welcome. 🙏 submitted by /u/Claudio_avallone [link] [comments]
