Spent 3 days at SWITCH Singapore, Asia's big deep-tech and IT startup event. Here's what were the point of discussions among investors and the innovators

Wait 5 sec.

Deep-Tech dominated, not the apps: of course robotics, quantum, climate tech and semiconductors Almost every conversation was about the Ai but the hard part seemed to get that to production: for example a robot was able to pick your choice of drink from shelf and get that delivered to your table in controlled environment, but if you wanted to take it home, the monthly rent was quoted as 4000 SGD/m, or if you wanted to own that upfront cost was around 60,000 SGD! Investors asked about: go-to-market, unit economics, IP more then the tech itself. Happy to answer if anyone's considering this next year or deciding between SWITCH and Singapore FinTech Festival submitted by /u/bilal-cs [link] [comments]
