Hi all, It has been a moment since I've had time to touch the Mamiya 645 (Sekor-C) for Red project that I posted about a year ago, but with recent advancements in AI, I gave it another go. Make sure to use V4 if you try this, as V1-V3 are not going to work. I left them up, however, so that you can see my progress. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7170424 I ran V4 through Claude to redesign this mount from the ground up. The previously used Hasselblad mount was a mess, and was not a great starting point for this model beyond the actual baseplate that connects to the camera body itself. The Hasselblad mount's flange was completely wrong, so every adjustment I made did not matter because my numbers were wrong to begin with. Claude quickly caught this and adjusted the flange to correct V3's design. Claude also reinforced the walls and correctly integrated the mount, and also designed it to print without supports. It also extended the latch design for easier access and functionality. Tests coming soon and no promises, but there may be a version coming soon with a positive locking mount (similar to Arri PL) and/or a speed booster integration. I will also be releasing STEP file versions when this is finished and properly tested so that you can take these files to a CNC shop or have them printed in metal. (Side note, if anybody has a spare XPimage 0.71x Optic for Mamiya PL conversions, that's what I'm having Claude adapt this for, and I need one to take measurements of and test with a speed boosting mount.
