WTI breaks out of its 99-104 range: Sept high 106.75 nextWTI CRUDE OILTVC:USOILForexupgoFollow-up on last week's WTI idea (the 101.4 break). Oil spent a week building a range, and in Asia it just broke out of the top. The range: • Since the Oct 22 high at 103.92, WTI chopped between 99.44 and 103.92 for five sessions. Every dip toward 99-100 got bought. • Today it's up ~1.6% to ~104.5, with a high of 104.99. That's the first trade above 103.92 since the range started. • Brent is moving with it: ~113.5, +2.4%. Trend context: • The 21-day average (~96.6) is above the 50-day (~94.2), and both are rising. • Higher lows since the early-October low near 86.9. • Overhead: the September high at 106.75 is the last big level before the 2026 highs. What I'm watching: • A daily close above 103.92 confirms the breakout. Then the old range top should act as support on any pullback. • 106.75 is the obvious target and resistance. A first test often stalls there. • Back under ~102 = a failed breakout, back into the range. It's an Asia-session breakout, so liquidity is thin. I'd wait for Europe and the US to confirm before trusting it. Breakout or fake-out? 👇 Not financial advice.
