NZD/USD Held 0.5576 After My Call Failed. 0.5729 Next?NZD/USDOANDA:NZDUSDTrade-LeanOwning this first: on Tuesday I called NZD/USD up to 0.5725 for the week. Wrong. It turned lower instead and dropped to 0.5580. What's interesting is where it stopped. 0.5576 is the lower edge of the Q4 range on my grid, and this week's low landed just a few pips above it. Since then it's bounced back to around 0.5640. So I'm stepping back from the weekly call to the quarter. Short term it can still dip, 0.5627 would be a normal pullback. For the rest of the quarter, though, the more likely path is up: 0.5656 first, then the Q4 pivot at 0.5729. Wrong if it breaks under 0.5576 before it gets to 0.5656. This is a dollar trade as much as a kiwi trade. It fits the same picture as the EUR/USD idea I posted yesterday. Not financial advice.
