India is addressing the workforce challenge posed by its 100GW nuclear power goal through new courses. Leading technical institutes like IITs and NITs are expected to introduce nuclear tech programs. A dedicated institute for nuclear technology training is also being planned as workforce development efforts gain momentum. Current estimates show that 2.5 lakh skilled personnel will be needed in the coming two decades.
