India and Tanzania conducted inaugural Army-to-Army Staff Talks in New Delhi from October 27 to 29, 2026. The talks aimed at enhancing defence cooperation, military training, and capacity building between the two nations. The Tanzanian delegation visited important military facilities, which included the 505 Army Base Workshop and the National War Memorial. Previous discussions in Zanzibar earlier this year focused on various areas of military collaboration and emerging technologies.
