Non-dev building a fantasy soccer "matchup predictor" from lineup screenshots – what tools/repos would you use to fully automate it?

Wait 5 sec.

Hi everyone, I'm working on a side project and could use advice from people who know the tech side better than me. What it is: a small web tool for a fantasy soccer game with head-to-head weekly matchups. Users upload screenshots of both lineups, and the tool: reads the players from the images predicts a rating for each player simulates the matchup and returns a predicted result and win probability later: a mode where you upload partial scores mid-week and it estimates your chances of winning Right now I do this manually with ChatGPT (upload screenshots, ask it to simulate), and it works surprisingly well. I want to turn it into a real, self-running product. About me: not a developer, on a Mac, never put a website online or set up payments. 5–10 hours a week and some budget to invest. Questions: Stack: no-code (Bubble, etc.) or AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable) for someone like me? GitHub repos: any open-source projects worth starting from for reading lineups from screenshots, soccer player stats/ratings data, or matchup simulation? Full automation: how would you automate 100% of the flow (upload → extraction → prediction → result → payment) with zero manual work? LLMs: does it make sense to use the OpenAI API (or similar) as the prediction "brain", or build a statistical model on real data and use the LLM only for reading images and writing text? Rough API cost per prediction? Any advice or "I'd do it this way" is very welcome. Thanks! submitted by /u/BlurryFaces00 [link] [comments]
