If someone lowballs me I just start raising the price. For example, item listed for $75. Now if you offer me $70, that's a done deal. That's a fair haggle. But I've had conversations that go like this: $35? $80 $40? $85 And so on. Because if you're coming into my store with that bullshit, then I'm going to be equally disrespectful. I think of it like an RPG. If you haggle like shit, you lose reputation.
