Would you WhatsApp your hotel for room service? We’re building that.

Wait 5 sec.

You’ve settled into your hotel room and want dinner. Would you rather call reception or order through WhatsApp? I’m a co-founder of UnoStay, and we’re building around the WhatsApp option. Guests can order food, ask for fresh towels, or request other hotel services through the chat. The hotel team has a dashboard to handle the requests and keep track of what’s done. Say you order dinner and ask for towels at the same time. The kitchen handles one, housekeeping handles the other, and the team can see if you’re still waiting on either. We’re focusing on independent hotels in India, particularly boutique and heritage properties. I’d like to hear how this feels from the guest’s side. Would you use it during a stay? Would you want the hotel chat to stay quiet unless you message first? You can take a look here: https://unostay.com/home submitted by /u/Sea_Usual11 [link] [comments]
