Omron Healthcare has commenced full-scale production at its new facility near Chennai for blood pressure monitors. The company aims to produce three million monitors annually by 2028 for the Indian market. Initially, all produced devices will serve local consumers to address cardiovascular health challenges. Omron is also working towards increasing domestic sourcing of components to support local manufacturing initiatives.
