Wabtec Corporation has recently announced securing orders valued at approximately Rs 839 crore for Vande Sleeper trains. These agreements aim to enhance service availability and passenger safety for Indian Railways. Additionally, Wabtec will provide essential onboard systems including brake systems and doors. Indian Railways plans to manufacture 50 Vande Bharat Sleeper trainsets to expand long-distance overnight travel.
