I built a free tool that tells you how much Japanese you understand in anime subtitles and song lyrics

Wait 5 sec.

I've been learning Japanese for a while, and one thing that always frustrated me was not knowing how much of the Japanese in the anime I watch or songs I listen to I actually understand. So I built Todoku, a free website that analyzes Japanese text and helps you figure out what you know and what you should learn next. Here's what it does: Comprehension score: Paste Japanese lyrics or upload anime subtitles (.srt, .ass, .vtt) to see what percentage of the vocabulary you know. JLPT breakdown: See how much vocabulary falls into N5–N1 levels. Personalized tracking: Mark words you already know to get a more accurate comprehension score. Anki export: Turn unfamiliar words into flashcards with readings, meanings, and JLPT levels. Quick placement test: Take a 20-word test to estimate your vocabulary level. It's completely free, and you can login to your google account if you want to track your vocab progress but it works without logging in too!
