I built Riffwise for the reply I kept putting off — looking for honest feedback

Wait 5 sec.

I'm the maker of Riffwise, a desktop Chrome extension. I kept copying a post or email into a separate AI chat just to get a first line, then pasting the draft back and trying to make it sound like me. Riffwise drafts from selected or detected context in an open X, Threads, Bluesky, or Gmail conversation. That context goes to Riffwise and OpenAI. I can edit, insert, copy, or ignore the draft; it never posts or sends automatically. I don't have evidence yet that it saves people time or gets better replies. The question I'm still testing: is the first draft a useful starting point, or do you spend the same effort fixing context and tone? Free: 40 successful generations/month, no card. An account and desktop Chrome are required. Pro: €5.99/month or €49/year for 500 generations/month. If you try one reply, I'd value a blunt answer: what felt wrong or too generic? submitted by /u/hot5now [link] [comments]
