Tottenham’s loan signing Mykhailo Mudryk has been out of action for two months, but he has set his sights on a return to the pitch soon. The pacy wide man, who joined Spurs on loan from Chelsea on transfer deadline day, suffered an ankle injury after making just one appearance for the Lilywhites.Roberto De Zerbi labelled it a ‘stupid injury’, admitting that the winger is going to face challenges after not playing any competitive football for nearly two years due to his doping ban.Mudryk was initially expected to return to action at the end of this month, but it is now appearing unlikely that the pacy winger would get any minutes ahead of the international break.M. Journalist Igor Tsygankov has revealed that despite Mudryk’s injury, he is very keen to represent his country for these two fixtures.Tsygankov told Sport.ua: “I’m not sure that Mudryk will be able to play in the Ukraine national team’s upcoming matches. As far as I know, he is very keen to return to the national team as soon as possible, but to do so, he needs to get back into match fitness.“At the moment, Mykhailo isn’t getting regular playing time, so he needs time to get back to peak condition. Whether he’ll manage to do this quickly enough before the national team’s November matches is difficult to say at this stage.”Spurs are unlikely to greenlight Mudryk’s involvement for UkraineGiven that Mudryk has not played competitive football for two years, it is clear that Tottenham are managing his workload carefully.Even when the 26-year-old is back fully fit, it will likely take him a month or two to regain his rhythm and get used to the intensity of the Premier League. The last thing the club would want is for the Chelsea loanee to pick up another injury or a niggle, which would essentially render the whole loan useless. It would thus be surprising if Tottenham or De Zerbi greenlit Mudryk’s involvement for Ukraine in their upcoming Nations League fixtures.READ MORE: ‘We can’t ask for time’ – Roberto De Zerbi calls for greater Tottenham appetiteThe post Tottenham should be concerned by what Mykhailo Mudryk has planned for November appeared first on Spurs Web.
