We’ve been working on making Squarespace a bit more flexible with our project, Spark Plugin. One of the bigger challenges has been figuring out how to build custom features that feel native to Squarespace, rather than something bolted on. We just shipped 6 custom blocks that integrate directly into the Squarespace editor, which feels like a pretty big milestone for us. There’s still a lot we want to build, but it’s exciting to see this part finally come together. I recorded a quick video showing how they work. Would love some feedback from fellow builders!
