The Supreme Court on Tuesday sought the Centre's response to a plea seeking transfer of a Delhi High Court PIL demanding status equal to the national anthem for Vande Mataram. The petition also seeks directions for the national song and Jana Gana Mana to be sung in schools and educational institutions every working day.
