I'm Catholic and wanted to turn my interest in games, books and anime into a reason to study the faith. So I built Lumen, an open-source, AI-assisted study notebook using your claude or Codex subscriptions. I wanted to study what we can extract from catholicism from geek media It gathers Scripture, Catechism passages and Church documents, Saint books. Study mode presents texts and scenes separately: It gives you the documents to study on your own, you make connections, write a hypothesis and discuss it. There's also a direct-answer mode. The interface supports English and Portuguese. The notebook runs locally. AI can make mistakes, so sources remain available to check. GitHub: github.com/DiogoSabec/lumen It helped a lot, and gave me one more sparkle to study on my own, feel free to try it out submitted by /u/Sacraack [link] [comments]
