My girlfriend studies law and was making flashcards by hand for every course. Existing apps either didn't know when her exam was, or turning her course PDFs into cards took forever. So I built Noli Study in my evenings. What it does: - You set your exam date, and it plans the repetitions per chapter so the last one lands before the exam, not after - Upload a PDF, Word or PowerPoint (or a photo of your notes) and AI makes the cards - Works offline as a web app you can install on your phone, no app store needed - Dutch and English She drew the cat mascots, which are based on our two cats. Stack for the curious: Next.js, Postgres, Gemini for the card generation, self-hosted on a Hetzner server. It's free except the AI generation (Pro is €6.99/month). It launched 10 days ago, mostly spread through her classmates' group chat. I'd love honest feedback, especially on the first few minutes after signing up. That's where I lose most people. noli-study.com submitted by /u/woto_ [link] [comments]
