EglantinePS5 — An Experimental Switch 2 Emulator Port for PS5 (No Official Release Yet)

Wait 5 sec.

Came across an interesting PS5 homebrew project and thought I'd share it here. EglantinePS5 is an unofficial PS5 port of Eglantine, a Switch 2-capable fork of Eden. It's still in early alpha, but it already has several features worth checking out. What's Working? Vulkan renderer: Uses Mihawk's PS5 Mesa/RADV driver. An OpenGL renderer is also available. Resolution options: 0.5× to 4× rendering, with Bilinear, AMD FSR, Bicubic and Nearest scaling. 120 Hz output: Supports 120 Hz displays and higher-frame-rate patches. Frame generation: Supports Lossless Scaling using your own Lossless.dll. Controller support: Up to four DualSense controllers, including rumble and motion controls. Audio and saves: Game audio and save data are working. Game management: Supports updates, DLC, mods, cheats and per-game settings. Save transfers: Import and export saves, including Ryujinx-compatible saves. Library and profiles: Game covers, recently played games and separate user profiles. Other Features Game storage on internal drives, M.2 SSDs, external drives and USB devices. Performance overlay and configurable graphics options. Shader caching to reduce repeated shader stutter. Network game downloads through sources such as RomM. Save synchronization with a network server. Experimental local wireless multiplayer through Eden rooms. Current Status Just to clarify, EglantinePS5 currently has no official GitHub Release published. The project identifies v1.000.000 as its current version, but there isn't a downloadable release entry on GitHub yet. The project builds on work from Eglantine, Eden, Mihawk's PS5 Mesa/Vulkan projects and other contributors.
