Poptimum is a free packing puzzle in the browser: you drag and rotate stickers to cover as much of the board as you can. It started about ten years ago, when I was playing with animal fridge magnets with my baby daughter and kept trying to pack them into the smallest shape, which I discovered to be a fun optimization puzzle. It started as a daily puzzle, the same board for everyone with country and world leaderboards. After the first launch people asked what keeps them coming back, so I added 30 handmade levels and a roguelike mode, where you can do things like cut a sticker in two to make it fit or mutate the stickers themselves. It doesn't feel like an incremental game, your choices actually matter. It works great on both mobile and desktop.
