Hey everyone! For the past few months, I've been working on a personal project called Mach, a free and open-source web framework built with modern C++20. I've always enjoyed backend development, especially working with frameworks like ASP.NET Core. But I wanted to explore what it would take to bring a similarly clean and approachable developer experience to C++, while preserving the performance and control the language offers. So I decided to build one myself! After months of development, I recently released Mach v1.0.0, its first stable version. Mach currently includes: Minimal APIs and controller-based routing Dependency injection and middleware Model binding, JSON serialization, and validation CORS and CSRF protection Configuration, logging, and centralized error handling A CLI for creating, building, and running projects Windows and Linux support One of my biggest goals was making the framework approachable, even for developers who aren't experienced with C++ web development. It's been a challenging but rewarding project, and I'm now working on improving it further while trying to build a community around it. If you're interested in C++, backend development, or open-source projects, I'd really appreciate your thoughts!
