Been on staff for a few years now and recently took a float pool position to switch things up and pay off some debt. The money is great but walking into a unit I haven't worked on since orientation where the charge nurse looks at me like I'm a tourist and hands me the heaviest assignment is honestly wrecking my nerves. How do you guys shake that impending doom feeling during the first hour of shift change? Does it ever actually get routine or are you always bracing for chaos? submitted by /u/myworld54 [link] [comments]
