To paraphrase the timeless proverb, “The wheels of the firearm industry grind slow, but fine.” The CZ P-09 Nocturne pistol has been on the market for a while now, but the aftermarket is still introducing new upgrades for the handgun. The latest case is XS Sights, who’ve just released night sights for this pistol. Night fighting upgradeXS Sights makes upgraded iron sights, so that’s obviously what they’ve built for this handgun. Specifically, they’ve added an option in their R3D 2.0 night sight series. Why would you upgrade? As per their PR:“Designed for self-defense, these 3-dot notch and post sets come with a green or orange Glow Dot front sight with tritium in the center. The dual-illumination design of the front sight makes it larger and brighter than the two rear tritium dots, driving focus to the front sight and downrange target. The wide rear notch design also provides more visible indexing for increased speed and accuracy.”In other words: These should help you get on target in low-light situations, and do so more quickly. This upgrade comes with the standard XS Sights limited lifetime warranty, as well as a 12-year warranty on the tritium illumination element.So far, XS Sights only lists one standard model of the R3D 2.0 night sights for the CZ P-09 Nocturne (no suppressor-ready or optic-ready configuration, at the time of writing). They also only list the green-dot version currently; presumably, all these options will open up down the road.
