Hey everyone, I made a small side project called Reddit As Intended. It reads my Reddit home feed and an LLM hides anything about violence, tragedy, people venting, or rage bait. The rest shows up in a page that looks just like Reddit dark mode, and clicking a post opens the real thread I got tired of opening Reddit for memes and tech news and leaving in a worse mood. On my feed it hides around 10% of posts. There's a "Filtered out" tab so you can see what got hidden and why, and you can edit the rules in a plain text file It's open source and runs on your own machine, at less than a cent per 100 posts github.com/tejush1998/reddit-as-intended Would love feedback on whether you would use this? submitted by /u/Ill_Fisherman8352 [link] [comments]
