I’ve built Infinite Shipping Forecast, a free listening website that turns the rhythm of a shipping forecast into an endless bedtime soundtrack. You can choose British sea areas or Westeros, adjust the narration pace and pauses, mix in rain, wind or radio ambience, and set a sleep timer. There’s a map to follow if you want something to look at, but no story to keep up with. I’ve just added the Westeros version, from the Narrow Sea to the Shivering Sea and Jade Sea. I’d love feedback on whether the controls feel straightforward on a phone, and whether the forecast format works as something to unwind to. Try it here: https://infiniteshipping.co.uk/westeros/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=organic_social&utm_campaign=westeros_launch&utm_content=sideproject Production note: the narration is AI-generated and all the weather is invented. This is my own unofficial fan project, unaffiliated with HBO, George R. R. Martin, the BBC or Met Office. It isn’t a navigation or weather service. submitted by /u/InfiniteShipping [link] [comments]
