Gold weekly outlook (w/c 2 Nov): weekly close below 3,942. Sell GoldOANDA:XAUUSDF0rexBorexGold closed the week at 3,875.65 (−3.1%), only 5 points above the week's low of 3,870.32. The weekly candle closed below the 28 June swing low at 3,942.10, so the weekly structure is now bearish: a lower high followed by a lower low. TOP-DOWN • Weekly: bearish. The close below 3,942.10 turns that level into resistance. • Daily: ranging, but it closed below its 3,975.65 swing low. • 4H: broke 3,975.65 and left two unfilled bear FVGs above price (3,897–3,954 and 3,924–3,965). • 1H: bearish, with lower highs at 4,032.61 then 3,999.39. The trendline is drawn on the chart. • Price is now trading inside a weekly bull FVG from Sep 2025 (3,791–3,884). SELL LEVELS (red, above price) • 3,921.39: Sell 1, at the bottom of the 1H bear FVG and the fib 78.6% of this week's drop • 3,942.10: broken weekly swing low, now resistance • 3,965.15: Sell 2, at the top of the 4H bear FVG, inside the daily supply zone (3,937–3,976) • 3,975.65: bias invalidation (a daily close above it puts the bearish view in question) • 3,999.39, 4,032.61 and 4,082.83: London high, 1H lower high and this week's high BUY LEVELS (green, below price) • 3,870.77: week low plus a fresh 15m bullish order block (counter-trend pullback only) • 3,855.45: line in the sand for that pullback • 3,791.26: bottom of the weekly FVG • 3,763–3,768: Sep 2025 weekly low plus the weekly fib 78.6% (3,268 → 5,602) PLAN 1. Sell the rally: look for a rejection at 3,921 or 3,965, then target 3,905, 3,891 and 3,870. Wait for a rejection candle; don't sell blind into the level. 2. Pullback buy (counter-trend): if 3,870 is swept and a 15m candle closes back above it, target 3,888 and then 3,921, with the stop below 3,855. 3. Below 3,855, the open weekly gap points toward 3,791 and then 3,763–3,768. 4. The bearish bias is wrong on a daily close above 3,975.65. NEWS THIS WEEK (UK/Irish time; US clocks go back on Sunday, so US data lands an hour earlier than last week) • Mon 15:00: ISM Manufacturing PMI • Tue: US midterm elections (results overnight), JOLTS at 15:00 • Wed 13:15: ADP; 15:00: ISM Services PMI • Thu 12:00: Bank of England rate decision (forecast 4.00% from 3.75%); 13:30: jobless claims • Fri 13:30: Non-Farm Payrolls (forecast 63K, previous 29K), unemployment rate 4.2% Expect spikes through the levels around the elections and NFP.
