Noel Tata will step down as Trent chairman and director on November 11 after nearly three decades with the retailer, with Bahram Vakil taking over from November 12. Tata will become chairman emeritus. The board has also approved two director appointments as Trent reported a 25% rise in September-quarter net profit.
