Simple GUI Linux webscraping. Anything I am doing wrong?

Wait 5 sec.

Hi could I get some help with this? I am running a local Virtual Machine with a graphical linux distro. I plan on using this stack: Antidetect browser (can't say the name due to subreddit rules) Playwright Saving monitored data values onto a sqlite database All on a residential proxy My objective is very simple. I want to capture the live, dynamically changing value found on the html of 2 page tabs. My plan is to monitor both tabs live and (though the value on the websites changes every half a second) record the current values for both tabs, every 3 seconds. Then write the current value in the database. My questions are: Does playwright REFRESH the page to capture values? I think I'll probably get banned from the website if I keep refreshing every 3 seconds. The values change dynamically on the website frontend itself (without refreshing) so I don't need to make it refresh. Does playwright have to switch tabs (like Selenium)? Will it refresh the page if it does? Is recording the numerical value easily detectable? Any other tools I should know to make it stealth? The website is the same for both tabs but it's two different pages of the website. submitted by /u/Penismaxxing [link] [comments]
