I haven't tutored for a bit but still get occasional requests on Wyzant, and I just got one I'm fairly certain is a scam I hadn't seen before so I thought I'd share. The requester told me they already booked a lesson with me and I just needed to confirm. That seemed wrong since I don't have any "book now" slots. They then included a pdf that looked like a receipt with the Wyzant logo. It was honestly well polished, though the rate was half what I usually charge hourly. The pdf then included a button telling me to confirm the lesson that, when I hovered over it, went to what looked like a mock Wyzant url I reported the message to Wyzant, but since this is one of the more well-designed scam messages I've ever seen, I wanted to post a heads up here. I've included a screenshot of the part of the pdf that required a response.
