GAIL India is investing 6 billion rupees to build a heating unit at its Ratnagiri LNG terminal. This facility is expected to be completed by June 2027, enabling full operational capacity. Currently, the terminal is running at about 50% capacity without an operational heating unit. A captive power plant is also under construction to generate heat for this LNG facility.
