We’re the team behind needlz. We wrote a practical guide for artists keeping track of one piece across several appointments. The worked example has four sessions planned at €500, a €400 deposit and €500 received at the first session. That makes €900 already collected, including the deposit, and €1,100 left on the project. What is due at the next appointment depends on how you agreed to apply the deposit. The guide includes a nine-field sheet to print: current references, work completed, the next date, amounts received and who needs to do what next.
