Bit of shameless self-promotion here. I got tired of looking for simple online tools and ending up on websites plastered with ads, cookie popups, affiliate links, or asking me to pay a monthly subscription just to convert a bloody PDF. So I started making my own. I'm sure someone somewhere has done something similar or better. Anyways, one thing led to another, and I've now got 20 little web apps: https://reda-apps.com A few of them: - PDF tools: Merge, convert and edit PDFs. - Image converter: HEIC, WebP, TIFF and loads of other formats. - Mortgage calculator: Repayments, overpayments, interest savings, etc. - UK tax calculator: Income tax, stamp duty, CGT, VAT. - Play Store Asset Studio: Screenshots, icons and feature graphics for Android developers. - Markdown editor: Live preview and exports. - Audio tools: Convert, trim and join audio files. - QR code generator: Custom colours, logos and all that. - Data converter: CSV, JSON, Excel, YAML, XML. And a few others. Everything is free. No ads, no tracking, no affiliate links, no accounts, no premium tiers. All of the tools currently process things locally in your browser too, so you're not uploading your files to some random server. There's no grand business plan behind it. I just enjoy making stuff. Thought I'd share it here in case anyone finds something useful. Would genuinely appreciate any feedback, especially if you spot anything broken or have ideas for other tools worth adding. And yes, I realise the irony of complaining about annoying websites while shamelessly plugging my own 😂 tldr: Free random web apps here reda-apps.com submitted by /u/moh_reda [link] [comments]
