Everyone wants a growth hack. Mine was sending a plain, slightly boring email to about 10 businesses a day (when i had the time). It's how my SEO agency got most of its clients, from €74K to €1.6M a year. People overcomplicate cold email, so here's what I actually send. The subject: About [their domain] results The email: Hi [name], I represent [agency]. We help companies rank higher in Google. I looked at [domain] and there's real room to improve your positions for the keywords that matter most. Right now you're here: As a rough guide, position 1 gets over 30% of the clicks, position 10 under 3%. Would this be worth a look for you? That's the whole thing. It has landed a tyre retailer (five years and counting), a dental clinic and more. Results: Reply rate around 25% with this message. I must be frank, the email itself is a bit more detailed than I shared here, but you get the main idea. Last 3 years we have a revenue over 1M+ EUR (90% SEO revenue).
