ZeroTech Optics USA has added the Thrive X 3-9x40 to its hunting riflescope lineup, offering the familiar 3-9x40 format across four reticle choices and two turret configurations. For hunters who want to pick an aiming system without juggling a different scope body for each one, the line keeps a single optical platform under all four options.Shared SpecsEach Thrive X 3-9x40 is built on a second focal plane layout with a 30mm main tube of 6061-T6 aluminum, with lenses that are fully multi-coated. The scopes offer 0.25 MOA clicks and provide 60 MOA of internal travel across both elevation and windage. Parallax is fixed, eye relief measures 3.3 inches, and the body carries an IPX7 waterproof rating. Field of view runs 37.7 feet at 100 yards at 3x, narrowing to 12.6 feet at 9x. All four reticles are nonilluminated, with subtensions calibrated at 9x.Reticles and TurretsThe Zeroplex option uses a wire reticle and ships without the Adjustable BDC Turret. The G4, PHR 3 and PHR 4 models feature glass-etched reticles and ship with the Adjustable BDC Turret, which carries five lockable reference markers that hunters can set to distances confirmed with their own rifle and ammunition. Beneath those markers, the conventional 0.25 MOA scale remains readable. PHR 3 runs a stripped-down holdover layout, while PHR 4 combines a floating center dot and cross with an open view up top.The BDC turret adds a small amount of weight, putting the three glass-etched models at 18.8 ounces against the Zeroplex's 18.4 ounces.
