Script Clock - a little script timer + teleprompter I built while trying to start a YouTube channel

Wait 5 sec.

I've been writing scripts for a YouTube channel I want to start, and I could never tell how long they'd actually run. I'm not a dev, but I got curious and started building something with a lot of help from AI (mainly Claude) so I'd like to hear your thoughts! What it does now: - Paste a script and it tells you roughly how long it'll take to say (it counts numbers and pauses the way you'd actually read them) - Shows what people hear in your first 30 seconds - Points out lines you'll probably trip over - Has a teleprompter that can record you, pauses when you stop talking, and rewinds a sentence if you mess up It's free, no sign-up, and nothing gets uploaded. Just a fun side project that I can hopefully grow, and I'm curious what people think. Does it work for you? Anything weird or broken? What would you add? I'd love to hear any form of feedback :) cueandcut.com/script-clock submitted by /u/Playful_Shop_8065 [link] [comments]
