Donald Trump’s public approval rating rose by one percentage point to 32%, recovering slightly from a record low a week earlier, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll. With the November 3 US midterm elections approaching, registered voters favoured Democrats over Republicans by 47% to 36% on the generic congressional ballot. The poll also found that Democrats led by nine percentage points after undecided voters were asked about their preferences.
