We're building an API so AI agents can update digital signs. What would you want it to do?

Wait 5 sec.

I run a small company that makes cloud digital signage (Adaptive Digital Signs). Today you update a sign from a web dashboard. We're working on an API connector, so an AI agent, a script or a POS can push changes into a playlist without anyone opening the dashboard. It isn't a shipped product yet. We build it to order for early customers while we work out the right shape, so I'd rather ask than guess. The goal is that updating one sign or a thousand feels the same, and that a small customer gets the same quality as a big one. Questions for anyone who runs screens or builds with agents: What would you want an agent to change on a screen? Menus and prices, announcements, schedules, emergency messages? What would make you trust an agent with live screens? An approval step, limits per sign, an audit log? Do you think in single screens, or in groups and locations? Disclosure: I'm the founder, so I'm biased. Happy to share what we have so far. submitted by /u/Impressive_Bug2198 [link] [comments]
