Hmm... so a while back I was using Wan 3.0 Prime on Higgsfield's unlimited offer (that one's over now). Thing is, every platform prices AI video differently: credits, plans, per-second API rates, promos that end on random dates. Comparing them is a mess. So I built VidFare with the help of an AI assistant. It turns all of that into one number: dollars per second of finished video. What's on it right now: - 184 current prices across 9 models (Wan 3.0, Wan 3.0 Prime, Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.5, MiniMax Hailuo / H3, Runway Gen-4.x, Gemini Omni Flash 1.1, Grok Imagine Video 1.5) on 10 platforms (fal, Replicate, Runway API, Higgsfield and its API, Krea, Magnific, Atlas Cloud, Kling API, Google Gemini API) - Every price links to the vendor page it came from and shows the date it was checked. Some are estimates (like credit plans converted to $/s), and those are marked - It re-checks them daily - A deals page with current discounts and promos, with end dates when the vendor gives one - A small calculator that shows what a clip really costs on credit plans like Higgsfield, Krea and Magnific, including when you don't use all your credits I was surprised once I saw how big the spread is. Kling 3.0, for example, is about $0.05/s on Higgsfield's credit plans (estimated) but $0.112/s on fal (Pro tier, no audio). https://sheepinboots.github.io/clipcost/ (The URL still says clipcost, it was renamed this week.) A newsletter for price drops is coming too, but the signup isn't hooked up yet. Would love feedback, especially if you spot a wrong price or a platform I'm missing :P submitted by /u/Wolfeako [link] [comments]
