[Hiring] Florida - React/Node dev to fix a bug in my side project, $1,000 flat

Wait 5 sec.

Hey all. I've got a small personal project (React front end, Node API, Postgres on Railway) that's mostly working, but there's one bug I've been fighting for a couple weeks and I'm done banging my head on it. Not a build-from-scratch thing, I just need someone who knows what they're doing to come in and sort it out. The bug: when a user logs out and logs back in, the dashboard shows the previous session's data instead of pulling fresh from the API. It stays stale until you hard reload. I'm guessing it's cached state not clearing on logout but I haven't been able to pin it down. Fixed = it loads fresh data on its own every time after login, no manual refresh. I'd prefer someone in Florida because part of it runs on a machine at my place and I'd rather sit down and walk through the setup together for an hour than try to explain it all over Discord. Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Jax, anywhere in the state works. Most of the actual work can be remote, probably one or two meetups at most. My guess is 8-12 hours but you'd know better once you see the code. Paying $1,000 flat, half when we agree on what needs doing and half when it's fixed and working. PayPal G&S or escrow, whichever you're more comfortable with. If you're interested, PM me (not in the comments, mods will remove it) with roughly where you are in FL, a bit about your React/Node background, a GitHub or something you've built, and when you're free over the next couple of weeks. I'll send over the relevant part of the code so you can take a look before either of us commits to anything. Thanks! submitted by /u/Yukiko_Komuro [link] [comments]
