Valor (War of Will), at 8-1, is the individual favorite in Pool 1 of the Kentucky Derby Future Wager, which opens Wednesday. “All Other Colts and Geldings Foaled in 2024” is the 6-5 morning-line favorite among the pool's 40 wagering interests.Other leading individual interests in Pool 1 include undefeated two-time Grade I winner Hughes (Into Mischief) (10-1), the likely favorite for Friday's GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile; GI Breeders' Futurity winner American History (Constitution) (20-1) and runner-up Coach Pope (Tapit) (15-1); and unbeaten GIII Iroquois Stakes winner Salahudin (Uncle Mo) (25-1).Wagering for Pool 1 of the Kentucky Derby Future Wager opens Wednesday at noon (all times Eastern) and will close Friday at approximately 4 p.m. ahead of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile, which has a 4:55 p.m. post time.There will be six Future Wager pools for Kentucky Derby 153. Pool 2 and the Sire Future Wager will run Nov. 26-29.
