He’s a huge name, great fighter, good friend of mine.”Clarke and Parker’s amateur rivalry The heavyweight titans have history dating back to their amateur days.In 2010, Parker beat Clarke on points in the semi-finals of the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, India.Parker hasn’t set foot in the ring since his stoppage defeat to Wardley in October last yearGETTYClarke has been champing at the bit to exact his revenge ever since.“He’s got one over me in the amateurs,” added Clarke.“Me and Joe boxed in India in 2010 in the Commonwealth Federation Tournament.“He won on a split. I think I blew a gasket. I was young, and he was young as well, but he was more of an athlete than I was back then, and it’s a close fight.“I’ve got it on the phone. That fight, I need to get one back. “Joe Joyce, I’ve not beat him yet. Four times I fought him, and I’ve not got a win over him yet.“AJ, he’s got one over on me. You wanna put all these things right. “When it’s all said and done and you hang the gloves up, these are the names that you at least need to even it up.”Watch Boxing on DAZN*If you click a link in this boxout, we will earn affiliate revenueSign up to DAZN to access the definitive subscription for boxing fans.Upgrade to DAZN Ultimate from just £24.99/month, guaranteeing access to 185+ fights annually, a minimum of 12 pay-per-views at no extra cost, as well as every Lega Serie A match and other elite football access.Alternatively, DAZN Standard is just £15.99/month, with the caveat you will have to pay for pay-per-view events.Click here to sign up.
