Tldr:- I was shortlisted for the Meta Global AI Hackathon with an OSINT agent that detects potential manipulation in government tenders using 70 JSON rule cards, agentic investigation tools, and evidence-backed reports. The problem: Historical tender documents are difficult to find. I pivoted to Maharashtra medical-equipment tenders, but found only 20 ventilator tenders across 12 years. What should I do now? \----- Detailed post Hii, I was shortlisted in the meta global ai hackathon a few days back. The project idea I had proposed was an osint agent that gets a tender ID and finds the tender from the government website (pdf), award of contract and bidders list and then creates a knowledge base (facts store) with certain tools given to the agent to extract extra information about the given tender. Then we will have 70 json cards of different types of possible manipulation in tenders and bidders. We will make the facts store and all 70 json cards go 1 v 1 and let the agent give a rating between 0.0 to 1.0 , low range means low chances of manipulation and 1.0 means high chance of manipulation. It will then categorise the result into three :- No manipulation suspected Needs more information Major red flags And then with more agentic tools (I have thought of some more like Total 15-18) , it will do deep research and try the hypothesis and then generate a report ... Now, the problem is you can't simply find a closed tender. Literally, the government clears all the past tenders. Like whichever gets over, they don't keep an archive or system. There are some possible sites where you will find some archive tenders but it's only for names nothing in it. After a lot of hard work, i decided I will pivot the first step. I thought I would change the process. I thought I would pre download 20 tenders, award of contract and bidders list pdfs and run the agent on them that too in one nice of medical equipment contracts in Maharashtra. But the mahagovtenders.in site only shows some absurd 20 tenders in the past 12 years for ventilators. How is that possible ? Now, what to do ? submitted by /u/Unique-Benefit-2904 [link] [comments]
