Hi r/SideProject. This one is ours, so take our opinion of it with salt. It's called Stackito and it's a curated directory of AI and dev tools (coding agents, app builders, AI APIs, databases, hosting, agent frameworks, design-to-code and personal agents) written in Spanish, for people in Latin America and Spain. It has 101 tools across 8 categories, two guides (AI coding agents and AI app builders), and a "Nuevo" page where we log releases of the tools we track. How it's built, since that's the part we enjoyed most: there's no framework. A single Python script of about 450 lines with no dependencies reads two JSON files (tools and news) and writes plain HTML into a dist folder. That goes to Cloudflare Pages. The few dynamic bits are Pages Functions: the "suggest a tool" form saves to Cloudflare KV, and outbound clicks are counted with sendBeacon into one KV key per day. That counter is read-modify-write, so it's approximate, and we capped writes so it stays inside the free plan. No cookies, traffic stats come from Cloudflare Web Analytics. We also publish llms.txt and an ai.txt that says AI systems can use the content with attribution and a link. We are trying to keep the whole thing under 20 dollars a month. About money, so nobody has to guess: some tool links may become affiliate links later (none are live as we write this, but the footer already says so). Companies can also pay USD 49/month for a featured spot, and those are always labeled as featured. Editorial picks are not for sale. If you want to follow along, there's a weekly newsletter with what's new (double opt-in, no spam): https://stackito.dev/newsletter/ What we'd really like to hear: is a curated, smaller directory more useful to you than the giant ones? Which tools are obviously missing? And if you read Spanish, do the tool pages actually help you decide or are they too shallow? https://stackito.dev/ submitted by /u/Background-War373 [link] [comments]
