I'm working on a new kind of treasure hunt. I would release a balloon with a tracker on it, and whoever finds it after it lands wins the prize. Once it's down, anyone can hunt for free. Free hunters see a 10-mile circle around where it landed. For $9/month, you can follow the flight live, see where it's predicted to land, and search a much smaller 2-mile circle. My goal is a launch every other week with a $500-1,000+ prize each launch, but I need to know if enough people would subscribe to fund it. More subscribers would mean bigger prizes. Would you pay $9/month all the time, only when a hunt is near you, or never?
