At CANCON West 2026, @BallisticAviation stops by TENET Suppressors to see the company’s newest line, the Buckskin series. Co-Founder Mike explains that TENET built its name on lightweight hunting suppressors for long-range and backcountry shooters, and the Buckskin is aimed at a different hunter: the whitetail crowd. The series launches in three models: the Buckskin 30, 360, and 460.TENET is based in Dayton, Ohio, and was founded by Jacob Albaugh and Mike Herne. Its suppressors are 3D printed from Grade 5 titanium and use direct-thread mounts to save weight, with internal geometry the company says CNC machining can’t reproduce. The Limited series prioritizes recoil reduction for hunters who would otherwise run a muzzle brake. The VESPER series came out of TENET’s “Reserve” prototype, which posted the lowest average sound reading among more than 100 suppressors in Outdoor Life’s suppressor and brake test.
