A 41-year-old man from Bormla has been arrested and charged in connection with a series of thefts from vehicles reported between May and July.Police said around 25 thefts were reported during the period, with the majority taking place in Bormla and other cases reported in Isla, Sliema and Żabbar. Items reported stolen from the vehicles included cash, electronic devices, tools, clothing and other personal belongings.Several of the vehicles were also allegedly damaged during the thefts.Following what police described as intensive investigations, officers identified a suspect believed to be connected to all of the cases.The man was arrested and arraigned before Magistrate Kevan Azzopardi in recent days.He pleaded not guilty to the charges and was denied bail, remaining in preventive custody.•
