Hi [r/SideProject](r/SideProject) , I’m the developer of Diple, a Markdown writing app for iPhone and iPad. It’s built around a workflow: turn scattered ideas into documents, then organize them into something you can read through and export. A travel journal, a set of reading notes, or a story draft can start as separate pieces and come together as the structure develops. Write each piece Markdown and the formatting toolbar help with headings, lists, quotes, tasks, tables, and more. Live, Immersive, Preview, and Source let you see formatting as you write, focus on the words, review without editing, or work directly with the Markdown—all within the same document. Organize the structure Folders help you file and find documents. Collections arrange related documents into chapters, with numbering and a reading order. Open one document to revise a section, or use the Collection’s contents to see the structure. Read it together Move from one document to the next in a Collection, jump to a chapter through the contents, and resume where you stopped when reading-position tracking is enabled. This gives you a way to check how separately written pieces flow together. Export for the next step Export options include Markdown, TXT, PDF, Word, HTML, and images. Batch export and combined Collection export let you take individual documents or bring separately written pieces into one file. The three screenshots show the editor, a Collection’s contents, and continuous reading. If you write longer pieces on a phone or tablet, would this cover your workflow? Which step tends to get in the way between the first draft and sharing the finished piece? App Store: Diple submitted by /u/MichaelSilvester [link] [comments]
